The cookies and similar technologies we use on summitbadminton.com, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage and service-worker caches — work in comparable ways. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, and to make the Platform work reliably.

2. The cookies we use

We keep our use of cookies to the minimum necessary to run the Platform. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They do not require your consent.

Session / authentication cookie — keeps you securely signed in as you navigate between pages. Without this cookie the Platform cannot function.
Security tokens — one or more short-lived tokens used to protect forms and the sign-in process against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and similar attacks. These are set automatically and expire at the end of your session.

Functional

These cookies support features you actively choose to use. They are set only when you opt in to the relevant feature.

Web-push subscription — if you opt in to push notifications, your browser stores a subscription record so the Platform can deliver alerts such as new messages. You can revoke this at any time through your browser or operating system settings, or in the Platform’s notification preferences.
Service-worker cache (PWA) — when you install the Platform as a progressive web app, parts of the app shell are stored in local storage on your device so it loads quickly and can work offline. This is device-side storage, not a tracking mechanism, and it does not transmit data to us.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy, and any non-essential cookies will be set only with your consent.

3. Third-party services

Some pages load resources from third-party providers — for example, fonts or icon libraries served from a content delivery network, and images from Cloudinary. These providers may log requests under their own privacy policies. We select CDN providers that do not set persistent tracking cookies for end users, but we cannot guarantee the behaviour of third-party infrastructure. 4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View the cookies stored for a site and delete them individually or in bulk.
Block all cookies, or block third-party cookies only.
Set preferences on a site-by-site basis.

You can disable push notifications through your browser or operating system notification settings, or through the Platform’s own preferences page.

Please note: blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent you from signing in to the Platform.

5. Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by a notice on the Platform before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
